Wedding Function Rooms
Walpole Ballroom - 160 guests
The largest of our function rooms, the Walpole Ballroom is a spacious and modern room with its own bar and lounge area which can comfortably seat up to 160 guests on beautifully presented round tables. With high ceilings and an abundance of natural daylight the neutrally decorated room is the perfect backdrop to any colour scheme.
Having its own entrance and all the amenities you would expect, it also boasts a unique minstrel's gallery, the ideal space for musicians to perform on your wedding day. The air conditioned Walpole Ballroom is ideal for large ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and evening receptions, featuring a large dance floor area.
Lord Nelson Room - 60 Guests
This traditional styled room is situated on the first floor of the old part of the building overlooking the historic Tuesday market place. Daylight floods into the room through large sash windows, making it an ideal choice for more intimate ceremonies and wedding breakfasts. The high ceiling room with two large fireplaces is decorated in neutral tones with wood panelling and array of images of Lord Nelson on his travels, hung in heavy gold frames on the walls, giving a palpable sense of history.
